Hi 👋 I'm Minseo. I'm currently studying in Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Passionate about software development and entrepreneurship, I'm always looking out for opportunities in how software platforms can add value to people's lives and solves their needs.
The CN Yang Scholars' Programme in NTU has allowed me to explore various interests, such as research attachments pertaining to deep learning and neural networks, which were outside of my degree in Chemical Engineering.

Experiences
Software Engineering Intern
- Built an end-to-end A/B Testing feature for SearchSG, GovTech's government search portal, spanning React frontend, backend APIs, integration testing, and AWS Lambda background jobs.
- Automated the A/B test notification lifecycle via 3 AWS Lambda scheduled jobs, sending milestone emails and triggering automatic banner reversion at test completion.
- Eliminated component duplication across a 5-step A/B test creation flow by extracting shared React components, improving maintainability and accelerating future feature development.
Software Engineering Intern
- Led development of Source-of-Wealth investigations, integrating AI features with robust error handling, edit tracking, and in-app notifications to improve reliability and user experience.
- Designed and implemented the database schema and JSONB structures supporting AI data responses, including read/write operations for nested fields.
- Improved investigation editing experience by building form validation flows, custom error messaging, and dynamic rendering of deeply nested JSON structures.
Sergeant (NSF)
- Maintained and enhanced three separate Telegram bots, each serving a batch of approximately 400 recruits per intake across eight intakes in a year, improving efficiency in information retrieval and verification through digitisation.
- Ensured data cleaniness and organisation of recruits' information using Microsoft Excel Macros.
Assistant Engineer, Data Analytics (Intern)
- Revamped Power BI dashboard data queries with SQL and automated data export into Google Sheets through gateway connections and Google Apps Script, saving thousands of costs in man-hours by eliminating need for daily manual entry.
- Successfully identified noisy time-series data through Hilbert-Huang Transform, bringing huge potential in quantification of underlying noise level in data which was previously only possible with visual inspection.
- Spearheaded data reduction project by suggesting new algorithm and brought about more than 95% compression in process data while maintaining fidelity score of at least 90%.
- Implemented predictive maintenance analyses through statistical process control for various process parameters, resulting in significant early detection of unusual events by five days.
- Refined how statistical process control (SPC) was implemented for cyclic processes through rigorous data analysis, leading to successful detection of transmitter issues for early rectification.
Software Development Intern
- Designed the Front-end of the new company website with added interactivity and responsive design, utilising skills such as jQuery and Bootstrap 5.
- Handled ASP.NET Code-behind approach, which was implemented by the company for their customized software services for different clients.
Research Intern (AI for Soundscapes) @ Digital Signal Processing Laboratory
- AI For Soundscapes - Developed a probabilistic neural network, incorporating a bivariate normal distribution loss function to predict the associated perceptual of soundscapes.
